Angel Gillespie is the Director of Christian Education (DCE) at First Lutheran. After joining an LCMS church as a young adult Angel volunteered in youth ministry and worked alongside other DCE's in ministry. Feeling called into ministry herself, Angel attended Concordia University- Seward, NE where she received a Bachelors in Psychology and Certification as a Director of Christian Education.
For the past 15 years Angel has been passionate about working with youth and encouraging them to grow in their faith and serve in their communities. With a heart for service her greatest joys in ministry are organizing service events and mission trips and guiding youth and families to use their gifts to serve others and share the love of Jesus.
